I trusted this dentist Dr. Farid Noie, spent thousands of dollars, and now I feel like a complete and total idiot!!!! I first went to this office in 2004 for a routine cleaning and checkup. The dentist Dr. Farid Noie went on to tell me I needed crowns on many teeth, and several root canals. The office encouraged me to sign up for care credit to finance the work. The amount came to over $7,000.
I agreed, believing him when he said get everything fixed right, and after this I will be “done.” Dr. Farid Noie also guaranteed the crowns for life which seemed like an good deal. Unfortunately, I have never been “done.” I just financed an additional $4000 for me and my family to get MORE work done this year.
I went in June, 2007 for what is supposed to be my last appointment, Dr. Farid Noie “finds” another problem, this time with my four piece bridge. Says it’s failing and he will need at least $4,000 more to fix it. It might be more, Dr. Farid Noie says because he is not sure if he can save the teeth underneath it. Dr. Farid Noie then goes on to push the sale of implants instead of a bridge.
At $3500 per implant, with 4 teeth to implant, I am COMPLETELY overwhelmed at this point. There is just no end in sight with this guy. When I tell him my concerns about the cost he says there are worse problems I could have, and at least I am not dying of cancer!
No, I’M JUST GOING BROKE! Now I go and get a second opinion. Two separate dentists tell me the bridge CAN be patched, it does not need to be removed, and it only costs me $150. I always thought if someone had a medical degree, you could trust what they said to be true.
I never dreamed a dentist like Dr. Farid Noie could actually be this dishonest or unethical!! All I can do now is to warn everyone else STAY AWAY FROM UNICARE DENTAL! They are only interested in your Dollars! If you ever get this kind of treatment from any medical professional, get another opinion!!
